Cancellation policy

Registration is binding. The participation fee is non-refundable or non-transferable without cancellation insurance. Upon registration, you can redeem a cancellation insurance of EUR 20.

Cancellation insurance allows cancellation of participation 7 days before the competition event.

The organizer’s responsibility for the participants only starts after the participants have registered at the venue.

Cancellation policy

A participant who has obtained cancellation insurance can make a cancellation no later than seven days before the competition event. Cancellations must be made by email to: tourlakeland@lahtievents.fi

Payment

Registration via the registration form is possible with a bank ID or credit card, in which case the payment is charged automatically.

Other possible (additional) services can be purchased via a separate order form, and these services can be paid via online banking or by debit / credit card.

Event license, insurance and safety

Participants must provide the necessary insurance cover themselves. Everyone participating in the event must have a competition license. Participants have the opportunity to purchase a one-time license for Tour Lakeland upon registration. The transaction license includes insurance, the insurance terms of which can be found by clicking the link below. Safety and regulations

General safety instructions and applicable official regulations are applied in the event. In addition, the event organizer can draw up detailed rules and instructions. If a participant endangers the safety of other participants or otherwise seriously violates the rules of the event, they may be removed from the event by decision of the competition director. In this case, the participant is responsible for the costs of the removal and is not entitled to a refund of the participation fee paid.

Force Majeure

In the event of a fire, water damage or other force majeure which affects the required conditions for the event to be organized by the contract, or if the authorities prohibit the event or issue orders canceling the event. In this case, the organizer is released from its obligations under the contract and is not obliged to reimburse the costs incurred or to be incurred by the participant, nor to compensate for damage or loss of earnings due to force majeure.

 

The prevailing pandemic situation – Covid

If the event is to be canceled due to the current pandemic situation, registrations will automatically be updated to the event in 2022. If the participant wishes, he / she can get the money back if he / she does not want to postpone the participation to 2022. In this case, the event organizer will deduct 10 euros from the participation fee for office expenses.
